Yin Workshop:
Journey into the Chakras

Date: 14.04.24
Location: Lumi Power Yoga or Online

Journey into the Chakras: From Root to Crown
A Yin Workshop

In this workshop, we will focus on the Chakras.  The Chakras are seven points that flow along the spine, from the tailbone to the crown of the head.

Each chakra has different qualities, which are equally important to explore. If one Chakra is out of balance then it will unbalance the whole chain – consequently impacting our perspective, emotions and behaviours.

Join us for a yin workshop on Sunday 14 April, 2:00-4:00pm, led by three Foundation teachers:  Lorna, Mina and Trish.  You can join the workshop in person at Lumi Power Yoga or in-person via Zoom.

Together we will go through a series of yin postures, along with visualisation and utilising mantras for each Chakra. We will embody the transformational qualities of the Chakras to clear, restore and bring harmony to overall wellbeing.

The objectives of this workshop are to:

  • To be enlightened on the Chakras and release blocked energy in the body from the Root Chakra to the Crown Chakra

  • Use props to help support and release tension individually to find stillness and comfort in each pose

  • Nourish the body and calm the mind, leaving the workshop feeling refreshed, relaxed and restored

Mina, Trish and Lorna teach for Lumi Foundation.   They are all 200hr teacher-trained and have also trained in various styles of yoga, including yin yoga.  They are excited to share their interest in the Chakras with you.
